Please Help Me !!!

Here is my problem:

Limewire is currently running on my laptop from an external HD. Yesterday i put somefiles to download and when i came back this morning they were all completed but an error msg was present something like "hard disk problem". I checked the external Hd and i only had 200mb's left there fore not enough space for all the downloaded files (abt 4 gigs).
Is there anyway of finding the completed files? I went to the incomplete file and most files were only at 20% when with the "hard disk problem" error they were at a 100%. It would save me alot of time of finding the completed files. Is there any Solution to this problem?
