can't download any program!!

i have tried downloading Macromedia Flash whichever it gives me. I got my computer on Christmas and it is faster than anyone else's i know. it is an XP Home Edition emachine. I cannot download Macromedia flash 4-8 which i need to make animations.
these are the steps i use to try and download Macromedia Flash 4-8

1) Start Limewire Pro 4.10.9
2)Delete any and all incomplete files from yesterday
3)on programs under name type in macromedia flash
4)Look through useless crap
5)find something even remotely useful *example* Macromedia Flash 8 A Tutorial Guide 228.0 kb

and then....

AVG Free Edition also says that its a virus for EVERY PROGRAM! all i want is flash!!

Please dont name the files you are downloading as it is against the forum rules

If you dont have the lisence for the file you cant access it....

Heck, there just might be a virus for every program. Surely you have noticed all the 851.7 and 197.7 and 228.0 (i know too many and's) and don't forget the 750. Every time I look at one of those numbers my virus program goes insane!! Sorry to say I think Limewire has gone downhill compared to a couple of years ago. May want to consider going some place else.......I get music here but programs are another story.
I have complained to LimeWire about this and their response was "it is out of our control" Hmmm Steve
