Unfortunately there isn't allot you can do about shaping technologies other than switch to a different ISP. I do not know if bit torrents will help if they are measuring bandwidth usage. If it were me I would switch providers if another was available. You can try higher ports sometimes they don't monitor them 45,000 or higher but the odds are they probably are.
