Songs on Low Vol. Heyloo everyone, Recently, every song I've download has been low-volumed. I've even tried downloading second versions of the songs. Both versions turned out to be lower volumed then other songs. Not too long ago (about five days), the songs were playing on normal volume. And also, the strange part about it is that, when my friend downloading the exact same song (same version, same host, same etc.), their version was normal volumed. We compared the three songs we downloaded to songs downloaded before. We also played the songs on winamp, the same version of winamp too. Any suggestions on how to fix this up? -Xephyroth |
Open the Volume Control icon in your System Tray (Where the time is displayed). Make sure that both the Master Volume and the Wave/MP3 Volume are turned up, and explore the advanced settings in case you also have an attenuation option (typically -20Db) enabled. Also make sure your number of speakers setting is correct if you have a newer sound card. |
Ok, I've finished folllowing your instructions. The master volume was pretty low but the MP3 and wave vol. was at a normal level. I fixed the master volume, but nothing seemed to happen. I looked at the advanced options and everything was normal. The number of speakers is also correct (2). After finishing all of your instructions, nothing seemed to happen. Anyone have anymore suggestions? |
Then look at Winamp. Are all the settings of the input, DSP and output plugins the same on both computers. Follow the sound through your system like it was a trail and you will eventually find what is different. |
