Default LimeWire 4.12.3 - Why it's not working?

Hey everyone,
long time user of LimeWire... first time on the forums... posting from the warm tropics of Broome in Australia.

Now, sorry to take up your precious time, but i'm afraid my limewire software has suddenly decided to dislike me...

A few weeks back i purchased my new laptop, a custom built S650K unit, AMD Athlon FX-60 dual core, 4GB RAM, nVidia GTX7900 graphics, Windows XP media edition, SPK2 etc... But for some reason, when i downloaded the latest version of LimeWire, it refused to let me download the files available on the network... While i can upload to others, and my searches bring back moderate results, whenever i double click a file (or right click to save as), nothing happens...

Please... can someone out there lend me some words of wisdom, as i was thinking of getting PRO on this laptop but wont do it if the basic version doesn't work!

Thanks,
Mark . (aka) The Bad Bilby

Sounds like a license problem, read here on how to change this:

WOW... Thanks!... and to think i was spending all that time trying organise my routers port forwarding settings and my norton anti-virus configuration, when all that was needed was such a pissy little box in the tools section to be checked off...

Is this something that is happening with all the new versions of LimeWire?

No, this is only happening with people who click "yes" or "no" before having read what the pop up window actually says......
