![]() Three things you could try: update your Java to 1.5.0_07 (use the JRE offline installer): http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp update LW to 4.12.4 (download offline installer): http://www.limewire.com/ delete the LW preference folder called "LimeWire": This folder is usually located in the hidden Application Data folder under C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.<your computer name>\Application Data\LimeWire You might also search for the old preference folder of a previous LW version (if you had one installed) called " .limeiwre " as described here (Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36420 Regarding your ISP, I'm not sure whether Quest refers to Qwest (i.e. they are the same); but that will be of concern after you've tried the aboce suggestions. ![]()
