Your incomplete folder may have become currupted somehow

Try deleting it while Limewire is closed. Limewire will create a new one on next startup

and how would i go about doing that?

and is there any palce things are stored besdies saved and incomplete?

Your incomplete folder will be in the same folder that your saved folder is in. In Limewire go to the saved folder in library select some file and press explore. If you're using Windows (just guessing since you didn't specify which OS you use) then you have accessed the saved folder in windows. Now close Limewire completely (Also in the system tray)

In the Windows folder, beside the forward and back arrows, there is a folder with an arrow pointing up. Press that and you enter the folder that both your saved folder and your incomplete folder are in.

Now drag the incomplete folder to the recycle bin

Then Startup Limewire and you have a new Incomplete folder

well i didnt do that yet, and i just turned on limewire and my downalod is still there

is there any way to back up what u downloaded so far?

Same deal but instead of dragging your incomplete folder to the recycle bin just copy it to some safe place. If you have many incomplete downloads it will take up space though.

You can copy your Downloads.dat and Downloads.bak files but I believe the whole folder is the safest thing
