Can anyone help me with this problem ? My Limewire Pro tends to disconnect quite often then slowly works it's way back from 'Starting Connection' to 'Turbo Charged Connection' sits at Turbo for a while then to 'Starting Connection' to Turbo to 'Disconnected' to Turbo (slowly), get the picture ? Anyone any ideas ? Also how can I be 'awaiting sources' for weeks on end without ever connecting to that source ?

Have you tried disabling ultrapeer capabilities (tools > options > speed)? Are you losing internet connection too, or just LW connection? Do you see the firewall icon (brick wall)?

Try file > disconnect, then file > connect. See of a different set of ultrapeers improves things. Do you only lose connection when downloading? Drop back your number of simultaneous downloads.

What type of connection do you have (cable/dsl etc) & what's your speed? You can do a speed test here.

I tried disabling Ultrapeer capabilities but to no avail. Also disabled OOB searching, should OOB be disabled or not ?
Only losing LW connection NOT Internet.
Yes I can see 'brick wall' (Firewall) but as far as I'm aware I have already told my security system to accept LW.
I'am connected through local cable network - speed is 2MB
