Download Problem

I´m windows xp user and lately i´m having trouble downloading video files. No matter what i search for, i always get towsends of options and sources for download but always get the message "need more sources" when trying to download.
THKS.

You are trying to download fakes. Look for ones that don't look like they have
so many sources. Don't forget to right-click on them and use Bitzi to see what
other people have to say about them.

No need to try those files with hundreds of hosts, they're most likely faked.
Stick with files offered by some 10-20 hosts.
Besides, use the "Look up with Bitzi" function of LW to check wether it is the file you're looking for:

Done all that and still can´t get 1 single download, besides the files i´m trying to download are not fakes, i think. I tryed all of them still no cigar.

Could be that the files you are trying to d/l are new and there are not many being shared yet. Searches for new files tend to bring up a ton of fake/spam files. If a search on bitzi doesn't show anything then chances are that the file is fake/spam.

Try disconnecting limewire and then reconnect. You may be connected to some dud ultrapeers and this will let it connect to different ones.

Did any of those files have a good review on Bitzi?

For a good test download search for a video called "Loose Change 2nd Edition"
and try downloading it. It's a legal download and the exact size is 732,350,464
bytes. There are a lot of sources for this file so it should work very well.

I have the same problem. I right clicked on the file to check with Bitzi and the answer was the file could not be found but when I entered the title of the movie for Bitzi to search I got answers which were among the results found by Limewire and still Limewire needed new sources and the download couldn't start. I checked with E-Donkey I get the files and I can download but it's usually slower than with Limewire Pro which I'd rather use. Does Limewire prevent some titles from being downloaded? Also there are requests for some TV series that elicit no reply at all when you dl a number of episodes from E-donkey: are they barred from downloading by Limewire?
