Got 1meg broadband and Limewire Pro..Download speeds still very slow!
 

I've had this problem for a while now. I got 1 meg broadband and purchased limewire pro near last christmas. However the download speeds in limewire never exceed 1-2/kbs:eek: . Also a window pops up occassionally saying that a firewall etc is blocking the download. I have Norton Internet Security on my computer. I tried some suggestions to configure its settings to allow limewire to function but the problem still continues.:(
Anything else which I download from the internet which does not use limewire go up to speeds of 100/kbs!:)

Please people give me suggestions because I really want to get this fixed!

Two things I can think of...
Norton not correctly configured (look here once more to check whether you did it the correct way):

Or your ISP is throttling the dwonload speed at certain ports.
What's the name of your Internet Service Provider (also the country, please)
