Guess, the Limewire Program will only be as smart as the person using it !!
What does not work?? Do they not download (displaying "Need sources") or do they not switch into the download window after you've chosen them to download??
If you try to download files with many hosts (30, 40, or even more), they won't work since they are faked files shared by those who don't like file-sharing.

What do you mean with:
"....i had a song that was working in my library and now it doesn't work. "
Doesn't it work when using the LW player? Doesn't it work with any player??

If you want us to help you, you'll have to be more specific and less upset !!

Problems playing songs

I'm having basically the same troubles as some of the other users. When I donwload a song, it will download fine and all, but when I try to play it with the limewire media player, it shows up for a split second and then stops. When I try to play it windows media player, it will either give me an error message that I think is curropted file or will play for 20 min. with no sound. These are the 3 songs I tried:
*******
********
**********
I didn't download the ones with ..., and I tried basically all the ones there. I could download ******* (its a song if u don't know) and play it normal. Someone please download those 3 songs and tell me if its just me or everyone. Thanks

There is not much to add to what LOTR and I have already stated above.
Try to search for your songs under "All Types" use the artist name instead the song, search for the name of the album, etc.

send me a pm with the song titles.

It is mostly I will have them already, if I do then ummmm...not sure we will figure out something.

No music playing...

I had the same problem, there are a number of posts on here that are fake. That being said, I had success with music when NOT using the built in preview and then going directly to and playing music out of my d/l folder. That worked for me, may not work for you, but...it's worth a shot.

Here's a recent trial I did in request by another user: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...highlight=fake
Just to make the point you need to be careful of spam results. Here's another: Turbo-Charged Connection but can't download

Also, if you're using WMP, don't use the Description option in the LW Library window after adding the files to WMP. WMP doesn't understand compressed id3 tags & thus wmp will refuse to play them afterward. LW will not be compressing them in future versions to give better compatibility with WMP. WMP is not such a good audio program ... really!!! ;)
