Can't play anything
 

Everything I download won't play in quicktime

Well.. I haven't tried Quicktime, but maybe you can just download Real Player (r) from http://www.real.com* or, which is A LOT easier, just download the version 1.8 of limewire, which comes with an embeded mp3 player.

how do you activate the embedded player? i have tried double clicking on it - no results Best Kurt

Go to the Library tab. Select a song from your library and add it to the playlist. Double click the song in the play list or hit the play button at the bottom of the screen.
