Won't download movies?

Hello guys... I've been using Limewire for sometime now and until recently, I haven't been able to download ANY movies. I'm still able to download music and videos but when I try to download movies it just says "connecting" but never connects. I didn't have this problem awhile back. Can someone help me out on this? Thanx!

First of all, when my former ISP started to introduce it's anti-P2P techniques this is exactly what started to happen to me, I could download the odd MP3 but could not download anything over 6 or 7Mb, so I changed ISPs.

However, you need to explain what equipment you are using, memory, HD size, etc. and have you changed or added anything recently (hardware or software).

I also think you need to say what size video you can still download.

I'm using Windows XP. I can down load music videos from the smallest to the largest. Yesterday I down loaded "Ghost rider goes undercover" which is a motorcycle video that runs alil bit under an hour length wise. I have an 80GB HD and 256 MB. I do have quit a few movies in my library. But if the memory was full wouldn't vids have problems too? Thanx for your response ;)

Ride1Rob,
There's the possibility that you might be trying to download fake files. There are heaps around lately. They'll sit 'connecting' for ages & then go straight to 'need more sources'. Typically, these are newer releases/very popular (but not always) with lots of sources (up to 100 sometimes). Try searching again, varying your search terms & using the All Types search. Stay away from files with huge numbers of sources, go for a file with 10 sources or less.
Look up video files before download with Bitzi (click on link)
How to use Bitzi
(files with lots of sources but no Bitzi rating are usually fakes)

If this doesn't sound like your problem, then it's probably an ISP issue as UK Bob said.
