Please Help!! Is there any way to check the validity of videos you want to download?
 

ok, i hope this is in the right section....ive had limewire for a while but have just started to dowload films...i had downloaded a film one for my newphew but when i played it...
It was porn.....i was pretty shocked and wondered if there is any sort of way that you can stop this happening...THe title of the film was the one wanted but it was porn...so there was no way i could tell that thats what it was!!

Yes there is a way of checking if it's the geniune thing or not...

Also can you just edit out the company name of the file as we are not allowed to mention them due to copyright laws....;)

You can also preview a part of the video as you're downlding to ensure it's not something gastly. To preview it should be at least 5% downlded. ;)

i tried doing that aswell but it said that it couldn't read the file so i didnt think that the dowload would work but when it was 100% complete it played:confused:

I guess it depends on the player you use. We normally recommend VLC for video playback.
