Nothing Works! I've been using Limewire for months now and suddenly I can't download a thing. My internet is fast, my connection to the network is strong.. what the heck happened. I checked in the options area and all is normal... What happens is when I try to download something it doesn't even start, it waits like a minute and says it needs more sources "EVERYTHING I TRY TO DOWNLOAD IS DOING THIS". I know sometimes it happens but everything? If click on find sources it just does the same thing over and over again. Any help is appreciated! |
If this is really happening with everything (have you tried to download a really old song/movie from a cable/dsl or even a modem source?), you could try deleting the LW preferences folder. Do this when LW's fully closed, or it won't work;) Instructions below (points 2 & 3) Fixes for LimeWire |
I'm having the same problem ... Nothing works for me either and I have this sinking feeling that Limewire has gone the way of Audiogalaxy *sigh* |
Call your ISP and ask if they have introduced anti-P2P procedures because more ISPs are secretly implementing anti-P2P techniques to their networks. That way they can deliver half a service without cutting their monthly subscriptions. UK Bob |
