Unhappy 100% downloaded and...?

not sure if this has been covered in old thread.
have downloaded files successfully to 100% but it says that they're still downloading. this means that if they don't have the preview facility then they can't be viewed.

so the status says: downloading from one host, the progress says 100% and the speed says 0KB/s but i can't view it! i am using limewire 4.12.6

these are video files that i paused over night and then reconnected several hours later to finish off downloading. other files i've started today have been fine i think. is that relevant?

any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Did you go to the Incomplete folder and try to see whether the file is actually complete? I had this once or twice that the file showed not to be finished, yet when watch from the Incomplete folder it turned out to be finish; so I just closed :LW and moved the file to a different folder.

WMP seem to have a problem with unrendered files. Try the free VLC media player with built-in codecs. It will surely be able to play the file to see whether it is complete or not:

tried that, it didn't work.

i've downloaded previous video files successfully since then so i'm guessing i might have to just forget about these two. wasted a day of downloading!
