jagerbomb2007 is flying high
Angry i DL a song, and only repeats the 1st five seconds of it for like 4minutes straight.

im new at this so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. well i recently upgraded to windows xp, and installed limewire, before i had windows me and limewire and everything was fine, now when i download a song and play it, it only repeats the first 5 seconds of the song and it does that through out the whole 3 or 4 minutes of the song that i downloaded. and most of the time i also get a popup that its corrupted before it finishes downloading. im not very familair with firewalls and all that stuff. so if anybody can help me out i would really appreciate that.

Are you using the LW player? Disable it (tools > options > player) &
try playing the songs with VLC player or Winamp & see what happens.

Otherwise, they're possible bad files. Check out the thread below

That's ok, I just marked them as a double post so that someone else doesn't think you're still waiting for a reply.
A mod will possible delete the other ones. If not, don't worry about it

Default still having the same problem.

ok i really thought the problem was because my computer was old and crappy and it was. so today i recently bought me a brand new processor and installed limewire. and it still doin the same thing, first it says the file is corrupt, i try to ignore it and play the song anyway and it still only plays the first 5 seconds of the song and repeats it the first five seconds through out the whole freakin song. pleeeease someone help me

if it helps i live in a apartment complex that provides internet in each apartment, so i just plug in the connection and automaticlly connected to the internet.
