Files transfer

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm new here. Anyway, I created a new account on my computer because my old one is infected with tons of spyware. I might just delete the old account, but I'd lose all my files. I'm not worried about the audio, but I was wondering if there was a way I could transfer my video files to the program on my new account.

I did search the forum for an answer and that was the best I could find...
I will ask some other members if they know what could help...;)

follow Only A Hobo's advice...its for all practical purposes the easiest solution to your problems considering you say you can't access the files via your other account (which as a note needs to have admin status to access all files)...any other solutions I can think of are fairly comlicated (relatively speaking) in comparison....its easy for me, as I use a dual boot machine and can access any files I want at any time needed, remotely repair damages OS's, and retrieve any and all data important to me (take that as a hint to one of the more 'complicated' solutions)

Andrew86,
Would it not be easier to get rid of all the spyware?
There's no point in creating another account to avoid the spyware, becouse most of it will be active in your new account as well.

As for transferring your downloaded files from your old account to new do the following,
Go to your old account, goto C:\Documents and Settings\"your (old) account name"
R-click the folder "Shared" click copy and paste it somewhere under C .
Log in to the new account, goto the shared map you pasted before, R-click, click cut, goto C:\Documents and Settings\"your (new) account name" and first delete the shared folder you see there, then R click and choose paste , the shared folder you cut earlier will now be pasted under your new account .

I would but my university requires us to use a certain program to go online in my dorm room. The anti-spyware programs that are supposedly compatible with it have only made things worse.
