help- lost incomplete dowloads

Hi,

I am lost I have lost incomplete downloads in LimeWire itself.

The incomplete downloaded are showing the in the incomplete folder seperate to LimeWire folder.

But in Limewire itself and the incomplete file section of limewire I have lost the files so I can't restart them.

Is there anyway I can find them in the dat or bak files??? and how?

This is just a guess but try to move the incomplete files out of the incomplete folder. Then search for these same downloads in limewire and start the downloads. Then close limewire, replace the new incomplete files with the old ones and restart

Pay very close attention to the filenames when doing this as I am pretty sure that they are noted in the downloads.dat file

And remember this might not work. I have never tried it myself

Please post back if you try it and it works (or if it doesn't ?)

I can't do this as I cannot seem to find the files again, have been searching for the files but no luck.

Will just give up the files as lost and see if I can find them later, will try doing a clean install of LimeWire and see what happens, as I have just noticed I have two incomplete folders one under C directory and one has appeared in "My Shared Files" folder.
Will let you know how I go
