Default videos that look like home movies???????

why do the movies look like my uncle filmed them and had a seizure they r horrible any suggestions, and also media player wont play previews of certain movies so how do i get another media player as default player for this


havent gotten new equipment yet for dsl so i still wait 3 years for movies sry guys still with dial up for now


any help would be appreciated

As for the quality of movies; they could be camcorder movies taken directly in the cinema.....
As for your player problem; you could use the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all media files. Though to preview a video file you'll have to open it with this player directly out of the Incomplete folder, since the VLC player doesn't work with the LW preview function.

which format should i use heard avi is good

In my experience the files listed with a DiVX (or soemthing similar to that; DVX? DvIX?) suffix are usually the camcorder copied films.

Normal dimensions of video are 720 pixels wide, but most of what you'll find on gnutella are about half the size. Occasionally you'll find perhaps around 450 pixels wide. Most are decreased in size so they can be easily burnt as SVCD's or VCD's. But you can also burn them as DVD's. Bitzi Lookup is your best bet to find user-feedback reports on videos. How to use Bitzi Web Lookup & these tips might also help: Movie download issues

Post few more q's

on modem (dont laugh) how slow will my download speeds be, and also i have vlc and cant get it to do anything when i preview downloads it automatically goes to media player even though it is shut off as default with i-tunes in its place help;help;help
