Problem With All Downloads...Please Help
 

Hey. I would like to say that this particular situation is existant on a FRIEND's computer, not mine. I use iTunes like a law-abiding citizen to download my DRM infested .99 cent songs, and I am happy. So, if this is an agent of the FBI or perhaps a PI from the MPAA or RIAA, please bring your lawsuits elsewhere.

Legal disclaimer aside:

OK, so my friend uses a Dell computer with 768 MB RAM. The make and model is unimportant, but he uses a Linksys WRT54GS Wireless Router, and his computer is firewalled with Windows and Comodo, although he shuts down Comodo while LW is running.

Previously, LimeWire worked fine. However, an internet filter named K9 was recently installed on the computer, and suddenly there are all these downloading issues. Sometimes the network only partially connects. It lets him search perfectly fine, but when my friend tries to download songs they connect briefly, start downloading at about 1 KB (these are popular downloads too, at T3 speeds), and then stop after about 10 seconds. One download finished sucessfully.

K9 claims it does not affect P2P software. What's going on here? Help please.
