I downloaded 2 avi,s today ending up with the same thing both times I have 8 hours invested and all's I get is the audio portion of the films no VIDEO. What am I doing wrong here , The time invested to be dissapointed is killing me. Any suggestions as far as what I am doing wrong or did wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a codec problem. The K-Litecode Codec Pack gets recommended a lot. I use XP Codec Pack 1.3.0 for WMP and it works pretty well.

You could also d/l another media player. VLC media player is a good one that has the codecs built in and will play most file types.
