Try removing your current version of Java & reinstalling JRE using the offline installer here
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

If that doesn't help, delete the LW preferences folder (points 2 & 3 below)
Fixes for LimeWire

And lastly, reinstall LW using the offline installer (not the recommended one)
