I installed both iTunes 7 with QuickTime on Windows 2k but didn't notice anything odd.

I don't like the way itunes continually adjusts the gaps between songs for playback since no other versions did that. But I guess that's acceptable.

Actually the phasing or joining between tracks, particularly live ones is much much smoother now. Before you always knew it was the end of the track with a fraction of a second gap between.
On my mac it updates it quickly but my windows does it slowly. And always does this updating process when opening or updating added files. Are you trying to play the particular songs from the main LW Library (Music as it's now called) or from a playlist be it a custom made one or the LW playlist?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could help me with the same problem as some other users. I have Windows XP and a few days ok installed itunes 7. It worked fine for a few days but then all of a sudden won't play any music. It shows up in the box at the top but no sound or movement through the song occurs. I did a total unistall of itunes 7 and then installed itunes 6. This hasn't made any difference and i still have the same problem. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. The simpler the better please! Thanks so much
