That butterfly thing site looks like a scam site. Get your money back from the butterfly company.

How do you get a refund from the butterfly network?

LukeyBoy January 10th, 2007 02:29 PM

Cancel the payment with your bank firstly, then contact Butterfly network asking for a refund. If they become snotty and claim 'not to be able to do this', then threaten to take the matter further. Make sure your threat sounds serious and they will give you a refund.

paid by credit card

I have emailed the butterfly network and they still haven't gotton back to me about the refund and I paid them by credit card and not too sure i can cancel order yet. How would I go about takig further action?

Do you know when the payment was made? ie. time, date? If so you should be able to contact your credit card company and cancel any payment that was made to Butterfly (assuming the payment hasn't already gone through! :shoot: )

What I mean by further action is 'legal action'. This is only advised if your really set on bringing these b@stards down...but for the sake of what you've paid (I presume it's below £40?) it's probably not worth going that far. The threat of legal action alone should make butterfly sh!t themselves, either that or they'll call your bluff!

But having said that they should refund you in any case..you have rights...use them!!

icsis_river,
Have a look through the sticky below...you'll see how some other people have been able to get refunds from scammers. Some info there might be useful:)
