90% of the time, my downloads fail. How is this possible?

What do you mean fail?

(i got it in French so i translate)
failed to download, waiting for others sources...
or
it is always "connecting" and doesn't move for hours...

Ah ... stay away from copyright files & you won't have that problem.

Use Bitzi to ensure the file is ok. And try downlding from just a few sources under the # column of search results. ALso modem users can be trusted here to downld from.

BTW if you speak french, then there's also a French language section of the forums. The moderator there is much more knowledgable than me.
