Same file sizes??
 

How come no matter what files I try to download many of them have the same file sizes as other searches for something completely different.

No, it's quite possible. See autogenerated spam results and Recognising Fake files.

That's what I mean. It's possible because the files are phonies. If they were real it would not be possible. I'm frustrated finding all these bogus files.

Unfortunately that's the way it is. LimeWire doesn't put the bogus files on the network. You just have to learn to sift through the junk to find the real ones. There's also a certain amount of luck involved.
