CD won't play in car

Previous download file "types" from another source were all CD Audio Tracks; CD's were created using Roxio CD Creator and worked in both home pc and auto CD players. Now all Limewire downloads are MP3 "type" and using the same Roxio CD Creator and CD-R blanks; CD's were created and can only play on the PC or the home DVD player. Will not work in car. Anyone know why & can the Limewire downloads be converted to CD Audio from MP3 type?

Roxio will convert them during the burn process. Be sure to select Audio CD output & not mp3 disk. Burn at low speed. Should be fine. Test the songs with a computer audio player before burning.
Speed of burning might be the problem. Some players don't like the high speed disks or being burnt at high speeds.

I may be on another subject with this but isn't there some types of CD players that won't play burnt cds. This maybe your problem and it may not be so if I helped I was glad to do it.

CD not working in Car

I don't remember being given the option of choosing Audio CD output in Roxio, I will ck. How do I select a slower speed in Roxio?

Give me half an hour & I can tell you. I'll need to start up my windows. I'm updating one of my OS's at the moment. Which version of Roxio do you have? I have version 5 for windows & 7 for mac.

Just checked my Roxio options for burning - nothing allows me to choose Audio CD output and the only speed option is 16x. No dropdown menu for any choice. Any suggestions?

I have Roxio version 5 for Windows.

an mp3 is an mp3...the fact it came from LW makes no difference

in roxio 5 you make the choice to make a music cd, either using SoundStream or Easy CD Creator

Select burn speed after you press record/burn button. 2nd image is how it appears for my Roxio Toast "after" pressing record/burn button.
