downloading movies I'm having problems downloading movies onto dvd. The files are being saved as avi Do I need to convert them? And if so to what? |
Try the tips in this thread....:rolleyes_2: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...6102post236102 |
Sorry, but that didnt help me. I'm using nero. When I try and burn the CD I get a message telling me its either the wrong sort of disc, or it needs converting to a format that it can recognise. |
What version of Nero are you using??? |
nero startsmart? |
Open up Nero Vision and place your file into there, it will transcode and burn the file...The only problem I have had with Nero Vision is sometimes the audio is not in sync with the movie, which is a common problem apparently. If you happen to encounter this you can decode the file using a program called Super and then transfere the file to Nero.. This link has some more info on it... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...ighlight=super This is the reason I went back to using dvdsanta, it's alot easier....:rolleyes_2: |
can't find nero vision....sorry for being think (nero 6 ultra edition) |
Sorry my fault, I thought you had 7...Take a look at the link I provided, the guys helped a member with her Nero 6 and Super... FooloftheHill also provided step by step instructions on how to use Super...:rolleyes_2: |
to convert avi files to dvd, you need a program called WINAVI. it will convert avi files to dvd so you can burn to dvd. |
But with WinAvi you have to purchase it if you don't want the logo in the middle of the output video, where as Super is free...:rolleyes_2: |
