Might be a license issue? Check out the link below & see if that helps:wink:
License (click)

nope

mikeyv October 26th, 2006 08:03 PM

i dont understand

is what you're downloading returning and all the files are 50-90 hits? it could be that you're downloading a fake file. try just typing in the artist and looking for the song because that usually gives you want directly.

mikeyv October 26th, 2006 08:14 PM

thats wat i did i type the artis and song , i tried diffrent ones and the download button is just not working

birdy October 26th, 2006 08:18 PM

When you select a file for download, is it moving into the download pane? Or is nothing happening at all?

For files that don't even move to the download pane, it's usually a license issue. Or try this - within LW go tools > options > downloads. What's maximum downloads set at? If it's zero, change it to 5 (or so) & click Apply.

mikeyv October 26th, 2006 08:21 PM

it says max downloads is 8

when i press download nothing happs i just click and well .. nothing happens at all , the bottom says nothing at all of a song downloading

It really sounds like the license thing...when you were setting up LW, did you say you wouldn't try to download any unlicensed files? That's a choice that everyone has to make - whether to download copyrighted files.
Go back through the first link I left & follow the steps carefully, then you can change your answer about downloading licensed material, if you want to.

mikeyv October 26th, 2006 08:38 PM

i didnt know what that option ment so i picked "no liscence copy" somthing like that , should i change it to yes?

birdy October 26th, 2006 08:42 PM

I can't tell you to download unlicensed files...that's everyone's personal choice:wink:
If you do choose not to though, I don't think you're going to be able to download very much.

mikeyv October 26th, 2006 09:01 PM

i dont get it ..

birdy October 26th, 2006 09:06 PM

Well you either want to download copyrighted files or you don't. If you do, change your answer to the license question. If you don't, leave things as they are. It's up to you.
