codex problem Hi ALL I hope someone out there can help me its driving me crazy I can down load songs (WMA MP3 MP4) no probs and play them all But when I down load a movie theres no problems with it until I try to play it THEN it cuts to windows media player ( thats right I hear you say) then it comes up with a CODEX ERROR and just plays the sound track Whats a codex and how do i get one? See below for a link to different codec packs. If you want to keep using WMP, try the XP Codec pack. Or you could try VLC player...it's free, comes with codecs installed & plays most file types;) You'll find a link within the thread below, download from the nearest mirror site Codecs & VLC |
