Default Download Issue

I currently installed LimeWire 4.13.0. Everything seems to be working ok, i.e. Searching, Downloading etc. But ... when I preview the song or listen to the song after it is completed, all I get is maybe 4 seconds of the song and it repeats the same 4 seconds of the song for the entire length of the song. I have tried several songs ... and the issue is the same with any song. This is rather annoying ... Can anyone help me out?

Default Download Issue

I am using Windows Media Player .... but still the preview player in LimeWire 4.13.0 keeps playing the same 4 seconds of song over and over. I am sure it is not my media player that is causing the issue. Any other suggestions?

Hmmm, I've done a search on your problem and this was the best info I could find...Have a look through it and try the fixes...Let us know if you still have problems after that.....

- wondering why -

I read through

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...song+repeating

There was nothing really stated in the posts about ever finding a solution to this issue. There was some mention if the ISP's restricting copywrite material. I highly doubt that this would be the issue either. Most likely there is a problem with the application I downloaded through the source. But still .. I am wondering what else could be to blame. I did however try several sources to download from and they all are the same. I have a new computer system and nothing in the background that should interfere with LimeWire 4.13.0. I checked through the settings and option LimeWire provides, there is not much in there as well that has any indication of replaying the same 4-5 seconds of music. This is a real stick in the mud ... i know that there are others with the same issue ... but there is not enough feedback on how to resolve anything. Just Guess work .... nobody has a real fix for this yet I am asumming.

Can one of you send me one of these files that repeats.

I've never seen this before. I have had a couple of albumwraps where each song was the same but ending at different points. Someone's idea of a joke. Unofficial live recording was the media. But that's different to what you people are suffering.

BTW may I ask did any of you used the Describe function on the file before or after adding to wmp?
