Downloads aren't starting I've had LimeWire for some time, downloading updates for it on a regular basis. Recently, however, every time I use LimeWire, it connects to the network just fine with five green bars and with many results for most searches. However, even if a result has 100+ hosts, it says "Connecting..." for about 5 minutes, then says 'Need More Sources". I've tried uninstalling and even making sure that LimeWire isn't leaving behind any registry values for a clean install. But nothing seems to be fixing my problem. Does anybody know what's wrong? OS: XP Home SP2 Make: Compaq Model: Presario 2200 Laptop Processor: Celeron M 1.4GHz RAM: 512 MB Connection: Wireless High Speed DSL (100kbps avg. in Firefox) Router: Yes (Netgear Wireless) Firewall: ZoneAlarm Basic Browser: Mozilla Firefox 1.5 LimeWire Version: Was 4.12.6, just tried 4.13 beta - Same problem in both |
It's not Limewire, it's those rotten fake files that seem to be getting worse and worse... This thread will explain more...:rolleyes_2: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=63993 |
