Whenever I try to watch a video
 
the windows media player says aquiring license and then a page pops up that says: you have recieved a license click play to view this material. But then when I do all that happens is this page pops up that wants me to download something that lets my download music and all this other stuff. So basically its not letting me watch the videos. What can I do to fix this?

You could try to use a different media player such as the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all media files without problems. You can download it from here:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
As a side note, to preview files with it you'll have to open the files directly from the Incomplete folder and not via the LW preview function.

It doesn't support windows 98 though, and thats what I have:(

Guess you forgot to mention this in your fist post....

You could try and download the K-Lite Codecs Pack which includes the Media Player Classic. That one should also be able to play the video files.
