mu3 to mp3...confused

I am so frustrated, 2 weeks before Xmas my daughter rec'd an Audiovox 125 mp3 player. I have been trying to make it work ever since, and their customer support never answers the phone!

I have windows 98se, and I use windows media player. My daughter downloaded several songs from limewire, but I can't get them on the MP3.

After some more searching, I think it may be because they are m3u, but when it was downloaded it said mp3 on it.

I've read on other sites to open it using notepad, copy and paste to something to convert, then send somewhere else...... I'm sooo confused.

I tried to do as it said, but it's not working.

Can someone please explain it to me nice and clearly before I go crazy!!??

Is there not a program that I can instal (like winzip) that would convert the m3u to mp3's without copy and paste and move...?

See if this works for you...

Firstly plug in your mp3 player....

Go to your shared folder outside of limewire, to find this folder you need to select a file from your LW library and hit explore....

Now you should have a window that contains all your downloaded files...
(you can close LW down now if you want)

Right click on one of your mp3s

select send to

select the drive that your mp3 player is pluged in to (ie mine is E drive)
