I had the same problem with my searches. I tried to download the latest 4.12 version, but it said I couldn't install it until I closed all older versions of limewire. I thought I did, but it still wouldn't install. So I saw the limegreen symbol for limewire on the lower bottom right on my computer screen. (I'm not very computer literate, sorry). Anyway, I right clicked on that symbol and lost the shortcut on my computer screen and cannot even find the old version anymore. This all started because I too kept getting the "ringtone" results on my song searches. Can anyone help me find my limewire program.
