Perpetual 'Connecting'
 

Recently my Limewire has started playing up.

Whenever I try to download a song, it stays as 'connecting' in my download box. I've tried reinstalling limewire but still the same problem.

If any1 can help it wud be greatly appreciated. And sorry if the answer to this is already sumwhere on the forums.

Sounds like you could be seeing fake files. Try using the All Types search & search for album title rather than song title...that usually gives me reasonable results. Stay away from files with huge numbers of sources as well. There's more info in the stickies below.

How to find music

Tried this with the song I was searching but still no success. However, I searched anotehr song and it downloaded properly,
i guess all the copies of ****** by ******** r broke! lol
Cheers for the help, i tried searching just the artist and it came up.
