cannot direct connect
 

I cannot direct connect. I will get the following message "your computer is behing a firewall or router"
I've allowed exceptions for windows firewall for LM.

I've tried the link to portforward.com for my router and follow the procedure; When i reach the part were i should be abble to access the router to put the LM port, i type my router ip (wich i think a succed to locate) I connect to a ##!!?# bellsouth screen instead of a westell screen(brand of my router) wich should be according POrtforward.com. i cannot then follow the procedure since the screens and the options are different.
I've called bellsouth but that wasn't helpfull either.

My system details are:
1-Windows XP
2-WINdows firewall Only
3- 504 mb of ram
4-a lot
5-dsl
6-westell 6100(c90-610030-06)
7-home
8-lm 4.12
9-bellsouth
10- test succesfull
11-no
12-no, i've always download more or less successfuly
13- yes brick wall , all the bars are green
Any help/ ideas would be great.

when i download all my bars will be green But i get a very poor or no search result compare to my friend located in france (i am in the USA). I am searching for french movies and i always add the suffixe "fr" to the title in the search.
Is it because this wall icone or because of my location?
P.S: i've allowed exception for LM to my windows firewall.

What address did you use to log into the router?
Try 192.168.1.254 or if you check out the link below, you'll see there's another way of logging in:)

Once you're logged in, you could then follow the portforward.com instructions. Don't forget the step of setting up a static IP, if that's part of the setup. LW's listening port & the port forwarded must be the same number.
