Help, I can't Play MPEGS that I have downloaded from Limewire

Hi there, I wonder if any of you can help? I have been having problems in playing mpeg music videos that I have downloaded from Limewire. They take an unusually short time to download and then once downloaded I am unable to open the video in Quicktime, it sates that I don't have the correct component. Have you any idea why, or any solutions to me problem? Thanks Guys!!
