Gnutella Forums - Help please low download speed

Hello I posted with help the other day and was told to update my java to JRE 6 I did that and it's still slow speed 0kbs 1kbs or 2kbs no more then 2kbs is this normal speed for dail up? and then go from downloading to connectiong. My lime wire isn't firewalled Ihave turbo charged connection. I am useing AOL dial up 19200 kbp's connection sometimes better. I seen I have no uploads most of the time why? Also what does uploads do? I seen I'am am download from more then one host. Also what is this magamix thing I seen were people were told to download and made it faster. I set my download bandwitdh and upload bandwitdh to my connection speed and speed modem. Heck I would be happy to get 3 kbs download speed lol. It's for ever for download videos and songs. I just got limewire pro the other day and thought is would be faster it was a waste of money. I'am going to get satilte internet in a few days hope is makes it alot faster. Here's some info
