Exclamation Do I Set My Router to Default Gateway or My IP Address

I try not to post too many question's mainly because I know there has to be a thread that has already answered it.
Plus I don't like it when a Guy won't do his own research,so please know I have searched & read for over 3 months on Port Forwarding & configuring Limwire within WinXPproSPII Firewall & My Belkin F5D5231-4 Router.
But My question is really short & simple to ask.
When it comes time to configure the IP Address within the Router do I set the IP Address to that of the Default Gateway ?
Or to the Ip Address that the Router has Dolled out to My Particular PC ?

I have 4 PC's here @ the House & all are Hard-Wired over to the Belkin Router & to Me it seems that if I select the IP Address that the Router has given to My PC then that would send it directly to My PC, but what about the other PC's on My Home Network?
Do I have to add a Port for each and every PC that is using the Router?
Or do I just set the Virtual Server Setting(Port Forward) within the Router to the Default Gateway?

Please any help & Consideration towards this new Limewire User will be greatly appreciated !
PS; Yes I realize that Clearwire is blocking the Gutella Ports But I still seem to get a decent bandwith at times & at other times I don't get Sh!t.

Before forwarding, you would've had to set up a static IP address...that static IP is the one to use within your router config.

I don't know whether you used these instructions for your port forwarding
http://www.portforward.com/english/r...4/Limewire.htm
but if you didn't...check them out. They'll show you exactly what goes where

Thumbs up Resolution Found

I Thank You So Much
For talking to Me in a direct manner & not sending Me on a Million link Goose Chase.
I've asked for help before in other forums concerning other topics, only to be spoken to in a cynical tone
To answer your question,No I didn't follow those steps because I didn't find them,I quess My search wasn't quite good enough huh? LOL,but I have been able to set up My Port forwarding & Static IP Address without too much stress Thanx to You! & I am currently downloading an AVI file that I have been unable to find a host for for over 2 or 3 months & it's comming in
@ 20KB/s with just 1 host
I quess I can't ask for too much more than that Huh? when I know for a fact that My ISP (Clearwire) blocks Limwire/Gnutella.
So now it's just a matter of Me trying different ports untill I find one that works better than the one I'm currently using since I read that IPS's rarely block certian(High Numbered Ports)who knows maybe I'll find one that will get Me back up to the speed I used to get with My last ISP.
Ok Im Outty & Once again thanx!! (Much Props)

Default Thanx Birdy

Thanx Birdy I am pretty confident that I'm probably getting all the bandwith that I can get out of limewire rite now, mainly due to the fact that My ISP is known to Block Any & all known P2P traffic & Limewire is definetly on their list of traffic to block,I've read all about it in some Irish forum.
http://www.irishisptest.com/forum/

Anyway I've attached a jpg file so you can see My current speed
Thanx & Im Outty

If I were you I'd be pretty happy with that speed, considering (as you said) that Clearwire aren't a p2p-friendly ISP

Thanx for the help & Kind words Birdy that goes out to others as well here who have helped/directed Me in My attempt to squeeze out as much as I can via the "Clearwire/Limewire" setup that I am stuck with for a while anyhow.
My attached jpg shows speeds at 58KBps but at times I've reached 85KBps & even higher just didn't have a camera then, but anyhow I guess thats it for this thread so once again I thank you Birdy
