Unable to search for the Artist that I have made available
 

My Limewire V4.12.11 Java 1.50.11

I have serveral music files to share. Just out of curiosity I tried searching for the artist that I have made available for sharing. However I cannot find my own music. Why is this so?

LW was designed not to find your own files. What's the point of that. You can use your computer search function to find them lol

If you want to know if anybody has found them in a search, find them in the Library window, look to the right columns, under Hits column will show if anybody has seen them in their searches. The uploads column will show whether they've been uploaded.

BTW make sure your files are well described. Either add id3 tags or else, use LW's Describe function to add them. This will make it easier for people to know what they are & to find them in their searches.
