Severely limited search results A few weeks ago, whenever I typed in a video search, these two multiply-sourced, obviously phony files would turn up in addition to the legitimate results: "New Movie Preview - PRIDE - Watch the Trailer Now" and "korn -freakonaleash - unplugged." Now, madddeningly, these are the only two results that ever show up, no matter how many searches I try. What's the story, and how can I resolve this (if at all)? Sincerely, Ryan |
If you know they're junk then right click them and mark them as junk. If certain words keep comming up in your search results, try adding some of them to your keyword filter and see if that helps. Do some experimenting, if you add too common of a word it'll limit your search results but you can always remove the word later. In LW go to Tools>Options>Filters>Keywords, and add or remove words from there. You can also add symbols like $ and _ and anything else you don't want in your search results. |
Thank you I will try that out and let you know how it goes. Thanks again |
im having that same problem and i tried what he said to do and nothing |
Which keywords did you use? I tried "korn" and "pride" and I've gotten nothing but good results since then. |
i have the same problem. i found that uninstalling and reinstalling limewire will help it go back to normal. however, it wont last long. for me, it only stayed normal for a few hours and then went back to the way it was. then, when i tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, it only worked like normal for a few minutes. |
