Nothing Shows up When I Search
 

Ok been having this problem for about 36 hours and i cant seem to fix it, When i Search Nothing shows up, even if i search something easy like Acdc absolutly nothing comes up, I dont know what happened all the sudden it was working fine before that and i am running the latest version too. Please post back with some help if you get a chance :xeri_ok1ani:

wow.... like 2 minutes after i post this i fixed it, after reading a few of the other threads.. All i did was unplug the ethernet cord from the modem and re plugged it in, wham bam ty maam. :PEACE:

I have been having the same problem for about 2 days. It seems a lot of people are and I too have Comcast. Nedfit posted this reply in a different thread about bad hosts. I noticed all of mine were close to the same number and browsed all of them and guess what? ALL BAD! I'm in the process of getting new ones. Will let you know if this fixes the problem. My bad hosts were 204.11.219.232 and 204.11.219.229

No reinstalling or deleting necessary for me. I just removed the bad hosts I was connected to.
But I just checked back on my connections and it looks as if one of them has made their way back. The host number is 204.11.219.231. If you are connected to a similar number you will lose search results. You can tell if it is bad by browsing it. If the browse comes back with an error get rid of that host.

It's fixed!
 

I got rid of all 3 bad hosts, have new ones now and Limewire is showing search results again!!! Woooohooooo!!! :xirokrotima:

I also just removed all hosts and let lw find new ones and now I get results when searching.

Finally figured out what the problem was, I added all those bad hosts. Thanks for mentioning that and giving the numbers. Finally get results once again.

The question I have though is, how do you check the connection to see if the host is bad or not?

I'm really not sure how to check for bad hosts. I did notice that I started getting results on my search when I went to the Connections tab and clicked on a host.

1. That host # came up with a search tab and started showing songs.
2. When a host # had problems then it came up with a search tab but no results (I think I also got a pop-up message) and this is when I didn't get any results with my searches.
