downloaded avi file have it saved to my desktop now what?????
 

ok I am new to this, I have downloaded a movie it is an avi file, I have opened it and there is sound but shows no video, is that normal or do I need to download another one???? I have Nero Express 6, but no idea how to use it, I have read through a bunch of info and instructions and nothing seems to be working, I have saved the movie to my desktop, but can not upload it once I am in Nero.

If someone could give me a simple run through on what I should do to get this burnt onto a dvd it would really be appreciated....

Ok to deal with the player that is not letting you view your file....
You can download the VLC media player as it has all the necassary codecs already installed....http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Also you can download the codecs for your WMP to do it...http://www.xpcodecpack.com/

Sleeplees made a step by step walk through for Nero 7, but it should be similar to Nero 6...So that should help you on your way to burning your movie...;)
