Unable to download
 

Hello All,

Need some help! I am able to search for music but when I click on the file to download - it is not downloading.

I have a message on the top bar stating that Limewire files have a lock.

Does this have anything to do with my issues?:confused:

When you try to download, do files even move into the download pane at the bottom of the search page? If not, try this.

The orange warning banner was added because there's a bogus LW update showing up in search results. It's a 75.7 KB .exe & shows up as "Urgent LW update - download & install now". If people download that thing they could end up infected. To try to prevent careless people from downloading a dangerous file, the warning banner was added to LW's interface.

The padlock symbol doesn't apply to music or video etc, only to LW updates;)

Hi - I am such a computer dummy, I seem to be having the same problem - I have never had issues doenloading songs on LW, i have just changed my internet connection over to unwired and now when I do a search nothing appears to be coming up. Sounds similar to you - if you find out how to fix it would you please let me know
