help: How can I increase download speed on Dial up?
 
I currently have a modem dialup connection, how can i increase my speed ? I am at 4 KBP's currently?:bangh:

But, really, I doubt you'll be able to get a much better speed than you're seeing now;)

I used LW with dial up for 2 years. And yes, you won't be able to get much better than 4 KB/s. Dial up only offers a maximum of about 6-7 KB/s. And up & down bandwidth is all included in that.

not in any noticeable way...as LOTR noted dial up is limited to 4-7 kB/s
