My mp3 files turned into zip files in my Library
 

Hi All: All of a sudden all of my mp3's turned into zip files, and I can't play or open any of them. Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Update your AV & do a scan, see if it finds anything (maybe a worm Delf.ATB). Or you can try AVG Free AV...that should find it.

Download AVG, update it, scan your computer.
Search the forum & you'll see other people have had this problem...AVG has fixed things for the majority ;)

Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & scan all files that you download before you open them:eek:

Thanks much Birdy! I took your advice along with some other posts and so far, AVG found over 100 "threats"...I'm not sure I know how to scan the files before I download them, but I'll try and figure it out. Thanks again!!
