File downloading well but then going backwards!

Hello! I've been using Limewire for a while now but still haven't get this:

A video file dowloads well and is, for exemple at 75%, but for no reason it goes back at 10% or less.

Usually, I notice that problem when I start Limewire, even when I stopped it without problems.

So could someone please tell me where it comes from, and how to fix it?

Because when I go to the "Incomplete" folder, the file size hasn't changed and if played, will go until the 75%!

If tried deleting the download but when I put it back, Limewire still says 10%.

So please help me, 'cause when it happens to old files that nobody shares, it's really annoying.:shoot:

Sorry at present I cant offer a cure.

Alright, thanks for the answer.

I tough it had to be a dowloading bug too. But I wanted to be sure there wasn't something I could do.

Well for details, I can't say much. I just opened L/W, checked my file and that was it. Just an annoying bug.:rolleyes_2:

Thanks again,
Clem19

If it happens often I would think about downloading & reinstalling LimeWire again
it may be a slight glitch
Peace.

Well no,it isn't happening often.

But I've been thinking and maybe it has something to do with the time the incomplete files are kept. It's supposed to be old incomplete files, but what do they mean by that? And since I've started downloading this file more than a month ago...

I've changed the setting but I suppose it will take a long time before I can confirm my theory so: what do you think?

Thanks for helping me, and "peace"!

Set the incomplete time to 28 days, 7, is set as default & thats not enough
Well I don't think it is.
Peace.
