download problems
 

Hey Guys
Please help, I have installed limewire succesfully and I am able to search. Unfortunately when I highlight the song and then press the download button nothing happens. The download box flashes but the song is not then transferred to the download section of the screen. I have tried many different artists and even re installed the program but it still won't work

Your help would be greatly apreciated

First, go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Downloads & make sure Maximum download slots is set to a number larger than zero. Depends on your speed as to how many you set it to. (Keep in mind that p2p (peer to peer) is about sharing from one person to another so I hope you have upload slots, etc. set to higher than zero.) If that doesn't fix it then see below.

Thanks for the reply Lord of the rings, tried all of these and still no luck, it's realy strange because it was working fine, then logged on next time and it won't download!!!
